Our our signet rings are all laser engraved on our own premises in the United Kingdom, handmade to order and your specifications by a local Artisan.   

To enhance your design why not add an inside personalized inscription (engraved at the back of the ring head), we suggest keeping this short as space is limited - eg initials and date or short names. Each ring includes one of our ring boxes, topped with one of our own MPJ wax seals and an organza bag.  

Our Scottish Clan Designs © are suitable for engraving on your own choice of signet ring, however we do suggest you consider your finger size in relation to the face size of the ring and which finger you will wear your ring on, for example for a mens pinky ring, a smaller ring may be suitable as opposed to something large and chunky. Please refer to our face size chart which you can print out at A4 page size as a reference to the face size.

All signet rings are made from die stamped silver or gold ( not cast ) handmade in the United Kingdom, our Heavy Weight range are approximately 1-2 grams heavier and a chunkier ring.  

Finishes explained:
Oxidised Aging - the engraved area is chemically treated to produce a dark matt finish – the un-engraved area is finished to a high silver polish.
Matt Silver – is a high gloss silver finish to the face, the engraved area is matt light silver finish.
Positive Engraving - The design is engraved into the signet ring
Negative Engraving - The background of the design is engraved into the signet ring. 

We offer a choice of engraving styles, negative or positive and all are engraved 'for show - where the motto reads correctly on the ring.
Due to the high detail in our designs, the rings do not work well for a wax seal. Please consider a Scottish Clan wax seal for this purpose available from www.customwaxnseals.co.uk
